Kathryn I. Doubt

Kathryn I. Doubt, 98, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at home with her son and daughter at her side and in the hearts of her family.

Kathryn was born in 1926 in Lincoln, NE. She married her husband, Cecil, in 1949 and they had 55 years together before his passing in 2004.

Kathryn enjoyed playing bridge, knitting, entertaining, cooking, always looking for that special recipe, and traveling including those special trips with her daughter. Kathryn was also an avid reader of audiobooks from the Library of Congress. What she enjoyed most though, was spending time with her wonderful family.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy; son Keith and his wife Susan, granddaughters Danielle and Aprile and her husband Andrew.

Funeral Services

A memorial service will be held on December 29, 2024, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 501 Duncan Road, Wilmington, DE where friends may call at noon, followed by a service at 12:30pm. Interment will be held in Lincoln, NE.

Nancy and Keith - I was so very sorry to hear the news that your mother has passed. She was a wonderful friend to my mother Marie Wallace and I always enjoyed visiting with her. Her fellow knitters will be welcoming her with open arms - I believe she is the last to join them. May she rest in peace. Sending sympathy and condolences to you both and your families.
