Kacey Ryan Strouth

Kacey Ryan Strouth, age 34 of Wilmington, Delaware formerly of Bristol, Virginia died on Monday, June 4, 2018.

Kacey graduated from Wilson Memorial High School in Fishersville, VA in 2001. From there, he later attended and graduated from Hair Academy of Delaware and obtained his Master Barber status in 2018.

He is survived by his wife, Lauren Rosen Strouth and his son Jace Madden Strouth. He is also survived by his mother Carol Adkins Strouth, (all of Wilmington, DE), his brother Sky Strouth and sister-in-law Andrea Strouth of Los Angeles, CA, and his maternal grandmother Anna Dugger Adkins of Bristol, VA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name to Limen House, PO Box 1306, Wilmington, DE 19899 would be appreciated.

Funeral Services

 

A memorial service will be held from the Chandler Funeral Home, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington DE on Thursday, June 7 at 5 pm. Interment will be at Shelby Hills Cemetery, 839 Bluff City Highway, Bristol, TN.

    First let me begin by saying that I am deeply sorry for your loss. I met Kacey in Spanish class when I was in 9th grade at Wilson. Kacey’s smile was contagious. His troublemaking, jokester ways drove Mr. Hollen crazy. Between passing notes, spitballs, and random off topic questions and outbursts, I’m not sure any of us really learned any Spanish that year, LOL. I will never forget the day we came into class & Mr. Hollen’s face was super swollen. Of course Kacey was the one to speak up and ask him what happened...while trying not to laugh. Turns out he had been stung by his bees (in addition to teaching Spanish, he was also a beekeeper). This was something we continued to laugh about for the rest of our high school days. Although I know the pain may seem unbearable, I hope that you find comfort in the coming days and will continue to cherish all of the fond memories you have of Kacey.

    Carol; We were saddened to learn of Kasey’s passing. We only learned of his death recently and we know your heart must be broken. He was a fine young man that we thought a lot of. We last saw Kasey when he was employed at Lowe’s in Waynesboro, VA, and we were tickled to see him. We had a very nice conversation and let him know we missed having him as our neighbor.
