June M Cooney, age 84 of Glen Mills, Pa (formerly Wilmington, DE) passed away on December 28, 2021.

June was born in Chester, PA and was the daughter of Andrew H Dombrosky and Thelma I Dombrosky (Shope). She graduated from Notre Dame Catholic Girls High School, Moylan, PA Class of 1955 and worked for several years as a secretary at Fidelity Philadelphia Trust Company.

June was predeceased by her husband of 29 years, David L. Cooney and is survived by her son Michael Cooney of Wilmington, De; daughters Kathy Powell of Naples, Fl and Patricia Ficarotta of Greer, SC as well as four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A graveside committal service will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 11:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery located at Township Line Road and Market St. in Linwood, PA 19061.

    Family of June: I am June's cousin from Granite City, IL. Had two Christmas cards returned. Thus, I searched regarding June's whereabout. So very sorry to learn she had passed away. We had communicated for years, but later years lost contact. Will always remember her as a very lovely person. She had introduced me to CLAUSSEN PICKLES, years ago, which I love today.
