Joshua Vincent Mercadante

Joshua Vincent Mercadante, age 43, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Wednesday August 22, 2018.

He was a Middletown High School graduate Class of 1992. Joshua was an Entrepreneur, jack-of-all-trades, put anything in front of him and “Daddy will fix it.”

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved the Gospel of Jesus Christ and truly followed the Lord’s Commandment “Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” He served an LDS Mission in Los Angeles, CA and was also a member of the Masonic Lodge #34.

Survived by his wife Jennifer Jean (nee Reckling) Mercadante, daughters Camilla (age 7), Cosette (age 5), Eden (age 3), his son Brigham Mercadante, brothers Matthew (Lauren) Mitchell, Mark Mitchell, sister Darcy Mitchell. Preceded in death by his father John J. Riberio, mother Melanie Mitchell, and step-father Mack Mitchell

Funeral services will be held on Monday August 27, 2018 at 11:30AM at the Meetinghouse of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 143 Dickinson Lane, Wilmington, DE. Visitation will start at 9:30AM at the Church. Interment private.
