Dear Mary Ann, My heart is heavy along with yours because of the circumstances surrounding Jim's passing. In my mind, his loss is all the harder to bear as it logically should have been prevented. I am so sorry to have lost him. At the same time, I understand it is part of God's plan. And we can be thankful for God's all-knowing, unconditional, all encompassing love that we all have access to help us find our way. Mary Ann and family, I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Jim was such a great, upbeat guy. A true family man. I don't think I ever saw him without a smile on his face. I remember back when he would umpire baseball games at the ball field behind our house in Brookside. Jim would always stop bye after the games to say hello.
