    Barbara Swan writes,
A kind word and a caring gesture, that is what I will always remember. A few years back when I was feeling I was without hope, Jim came by and spoke to me, asking me in a caring way what was wrong and encouraging me with his words and kindness. It helped me to get over my troubles and I will always be grateful to him for that. I just wish I had known about his troubles and to have been able to return that kindness and the hope it can bring. The power of a kind word can make all the difference. I will miss you, Jim! Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he Rest In Peace.

My condolences to his family especially his daughter. I hadnt seen Jim in years since working with him at Naamans Home Depot until recently when I ran into him at a Home Depot in southern Delaware. I moved a while back and he shared with me that he just bought a house in southern Delaware. We were only 10min away from each other...I thought small world. We talked about getting together with the kids but never did. Well Jim you taught me that life is too short and tomorrow never promised so make the best of it and make plans happen. Rest In Peace Jim. Sending prayers to his family....Very sorry for your loss.

    Charlie O'Neill writes,
My family and I moved next door to Jim at the end of March. I had one interaction with him after we both pulled up to home at the same time. I introduced myself, and he was very polite with a smile, shook my hand and said he'll be seeing us around. It was cold and windy and he had bags in his hands, so it was a brief introduction. I remember telling my wife that our neighbor seemed cool and was looking forward to getting to know him. I truly wish we would have had more conversations, maybe it would have made a difference. I am heartbroken for his daughter, his parents, his sister, and everyone else that was in Jim's life. Reading these posts, it seems like he and I would have gotten along well as neighbors. I hope you are at peace neighbor, I didn't get to know you, but I certainly will never forget you.
