Helen Pawelski

Helen “Babci” Pawelski, 94, of Pike Creek, Delaware, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2018 at Manor Care Rehabilitation Center.  

Helen was a longtime resident at Woodlea Apartments.  She worked her whole life retiring from DuPont in 1986.

 Helen was devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren Charles, Nicholas and Michael Zingo.  She enjoyed crime stories, crocheting, her parakeets, and loved her Jujyfruits candy.  She will be missed by her friends and extended family from Woodlea Apartments.  

Her Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday April 28, 2018 at 10:30AM at St. Joseph on the Brandywine, 10 Old Church Rd., Greenville, DE 19807. Interment will follow at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Cemetery.

 In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.

Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Church, 10 Old Church Road, Wilmington.

Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery

    We will miss the pleasant visits to Helen at the end of the hallway. She appreciated the visits and receiving Holy Communion from myself and many other ministers of Holy Communion over the years. The other residents of Woodlea would keep us informed and often go with us to visit Helen. May she rest in peace. She will be remembered by the parishioners of Resurrection. Warm memories of her.
