Ann Murphy lit a candle and writes,
Erin loved children and children’s literature. As a colleague at Bookland I benefited from her deep knowledge of children’s book as did the many customers who she helped. I remember her showing me around the children’s section on my first days at Bookland. Rest In Peace, Erin.

    Lisa Marsilii writes,
I only learned of Erin's passing the other day, by chance. Haven't seen her since her Bookland days, and I believe Always the Garden. Despite her premature death, I believe she had a life well lived and fulfilled her earthly calling: A kind person, with a keen mind, and a calm, cool temperament, who lived to marry a solid husband, raise children, and have grandchildren, as well as become a cherished part of the cultural landscape of northern Delaware. What I will miss about Erin is her quirky Irish charm and her independent intellect. She was the real-life version of Meg Ryan in "You've Got Mail." My condolences to Erin's family and especially her siblings Megan, Caitlin, and Padric. The Buckmasters will always be held close to my heart as part of a wonderful childhood in the Windybush neighborhood.
