Elio Battista

Elio Battista, Sr., age 90 of Wilmington, Delaware formerly of Arpino, Italy passed away peacefully on Thursday July 6, 2017.

Mr. Battista is survived by Elio and Erin Battista, Jr. of Hockessin and Nino and Sandra Battista of Wilmington, and grandchildren Nino Jose, Aiden Alexander and Anya Alise.

Elio enjoyed life and had a passion for hunting and playing the accordion and sharing his music with others. He was a loving and loyal husband, father and grandfather and never hesitated to help anyone in need. Elio’s kindness and generosity will be missed by all those whose life he touched.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all those friends who have shared their lives with Elio and brought him happiness.
