Eleanor Messick Tyson

Eleanor Messick Tyson died November 24, 2017 just shy of her 95^th birthday. She was with her family when she passed peacefully.

Born in Seaford, she was a proud lifelong resident of Delaware. She worked for many years as school secretary/counselor for the A.I. duPont School District. During her retirement years, she was an active volunteer on the Junior Board of Christiana Care in the gift shop, information desk and surgical lounge. She cared a lot about people and had many close friends.

Eleanor was predeceased by her husband, Cornelius B. Tyson (Neal) and is survived her son, Cornelius B. Tyson (Ben); her daughter, Trenly Yanito; Trenly’s husband Charles, and her grandchildren, Addison Yanito, Neal Yanito, and Cornelius B. Tyson (Neal).

Eleanor’s family would like to thank the healthcare staff on the 3rd floor at Foulk Manor North for their compassion and skill.
