She is predeceased by two siblings, Ruth B. Shurley, Lawrence R. Buck, two husbands, John S. Mason and William E. MacIntyre. Born Dorothy Ann Buck in North Wales, PA, Dot relished in being a homemaker and raising her children. She moved to Wilmington, Delaware in the late 1950’s. She had a love for antiques, boating, interior design, and was an active member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, working with their altar guild for more than 50 years. After becoming bored as her children grew older, she and her first husband, John, started the Wicker Picker in Newark, DE in the late 1970’s which subsequently expanded to four stores and later started DM Designs.

Linda Lange lit a candle and writes,
I first met Dot When I was 12 years old. She became a friend to my Mother, Martha Ford through St. Mark's Lutheran Church. I babysat for her two children as they used to live in Delaire a small development across the Philadelphia Pike from Holly Oak Terrace where my parents built our house. Through the years Dot and I would reminisce about her friendship with my Mother and me having been the babysitter for her two children. Dot Mason MacIntyre was a lovely person and I was pleased to have known her.

Dear Debbie ❤️ We talk about your mom all the time. She and my dad stayed great friends and did lunch at the Red Lobster. I’m so sorry we missed her service we just realized 5 minutes ago of her passing. Truly a beautiful, intelligent, classy and loving friend and neighbor. Xoxo
