Doris Ruth Jimenez

Doris Ruth (Ekle) Jimenez, age 96, of Newark, DE, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Newark Manor nursing home.

Doris was born in Ulm, Germany, the daughter of the late Karl and Ruth Hearns Ekle. Doris was a homemaker and loved gardening.

In addition to her parents, Doris is predeceased by her late husband of 52 years, Miguel who passed in 2006. She is survived by her son, Miguel (Jane) of Newark, her daughter Silvia Prilutski of Landenberg, PA, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
