Donna M. McCurdy

Donna Marie McCurdy (Reed), age 69, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at home in Wilmington, DE. Donna was born in 1957 to Donald Reed and Anna Mae Reed (Garay) in Conshohocken, PA.

Donna had a heart filled with love, and was willing to do anything asked of her for her family and her friends. She loved her son and often called him her number one source of pride and joy. She adored her granddaughter, and loved nothing more than to spend hours playing with her. She had a special, lifelong bond with her sister. Though they lived in different countries, they spoke every single day. She was a great lover of animals and regularly donated from the heart toward their health and wellbeing. Her favorite destination in the world was Cape May, NJ, where she enjoyed lounging on the beach, watching the waves.

Donna is predeceased by her parents; her husband, Jerry; her brother, Skippy and her brother-in-law, Pierre. She is survived by her son, Michael and his wife, Sewa; her granddaughter, Lily; her sister, Sandy and her niece, Jessica. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 12:00 pm at Chandler Funeral Home, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Interment will be private.
