I am so sorry for the loss of Mr. Franklin, one of the nicest man’s I have ever met. It might have only been for a short while, but handling his medications at the local pharmacy, led me with the wonderful opportunity of meeting Mr. Franklin’s amazing son, Chuck, and his amazing wife. It has been a pleasure seeing them most of my days, and hearing about Mr & Mrs franklin and how they are doing. I was completely devastated hearing about the loss of Mr. franklin, I am sending the whole family my deepest sympathy, positive thoughts and lots of comfort. If you guys need me, you know where to find me I am always here.

I was just 20 years old when I worked as a receptionist for Dr. Franklin. I had been a student at the University of Delaware and was married at the time, 1968, with one toddler when I worked in the office. I so admired Dr. Franklin and Mary, his wife. They were very special people and it has been over 55 years since I worked there, but I have never forgotten them… and sweet little Mark. I was then Barbara Johnson😁 With fond memories of a great man, . .

    Christoper Gaines (Roman) writes,
I was just in my kitchen thinking about the music that was on the radio from the 70’s and one song was a strong memory of my single mother taking me often for checkups at Dr Franklins office. I remember the Book corner and doing Highlights often. Dr Franklin was one of the Nicest human beings I ever had memories of. I saw this picture looking him up to see pictures of him and he very much looked the same from the early 1970’s as he did in that picture. I’m sooty to hear of his passing, what an extraordinary person and pillar of his community. I’m 56 now and remember him as if it were 1976 again.
