Cathleen A. Clarke-Ridgik

Cathleen A. Clarke-Ridgik, age 76, of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Essington, PA, passed away on July 19, 2022.

She was a graduate of Ridley Township High School. Cathy enjoyed life with many friends and family. Many of the friends she met through jobs she held over the years. Cathy’s most enjoyable job was as a school bus driver (#23) for the Springfield School District in Delaware County. In addition, Cathy worked at the Little Hut Sandwich Shop, Williamson Trade School, Walmart, Pathmark and Sunoco. She was a lifetime member of the Essington Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary & the Sachet Square Dance Club.

Predeceased by her husband Edward Ridgik, who passed in 2019 and William F. Clarke Jr., who passed in 1994
Surviving is her beloved dog Sweetpea, her children Debbie Cassidy (Geordy), of New London, PA, Frances Dievart, of Essington, PA, Kathie Veasey (Tom), of West Grove, PA, Ed Ridgik (Kim), of Wilmington, DE, Andrea Ridgik, of Wilmington, DE, grandchildren Kevin, Danielle, and Brian Cassidy, Jen Veasey (Dave Maleh), Jason Veasey (Theresa), and Casey Ridgik, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, her siblings: Marty Cuniff (Joanne) and Julia Litwa (Stan), Jack Cuniff & Peggy Muldoon, preceded in death.
