    Barbara Crowell writes,
I remember Kit so fondly and with great respect and admiration. While, as mentioned at her service today, she was a strong advocate, she was also very thoughtful about the positions she took, which she expressed only after careful research and examination of all the known facts. She provided invaluable guidance to me when I became President of the LWV of Greater Wilmington, a post she had previously held. She was so proud of Bob and her family as I know her family must be of her. Our community has lost a good public servant and I a good friend. Barbara
