Brian John Handloff

Brian John Handloff, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 2, 2023.

Brian grew up in Hockessin and attended A.I. DuPont High School, graduating in the class of 1992. He also attended the University of Delaware. Brian worked for over 25 years with his dad at the family’s National 5&10 in Newark. He will be remembered for his keen intelligence, his hilariously dry wit, his incredible strength dealing with many health problems, and his love for his family.

Brian is survived by his parents, Richard and Elaine Handloff; his sister, Cindi Handloff Brooks; and his children, Molly and Liam Handloff.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 25, 2023 with a Visitation prior beginning at 10:00 AM at Chandler Funeral Home, 7230 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, DE 19707. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Heart Association of Delaware, 131 Continental Dr., #407, Newark, DE 19713 or at www.heart.org.
