Beverly Jean Gilardi

Beverly would like to let us know that her work here is done. We lost our beloved Beverly Jean Gilardi, peacefully on Friday, April 21, 2017 at the age of 87.

Her motherly love encouraged her five children, friends and their families, to enjoy life. Beverly’s extraordinary life encompassed being a mother, devoted wife and Registered Nurse. She will be remembered by her students at both Glasgow and McKean High Schools as the best ever School Nurse! We remember being stopped by her former students in the mall, running up and giving her the warmest hugs and asking, “Do you remember me?” She always remembered. After she retired, she became everyone’s Grandma to all of her grandchildren’s friends. Beverly was a two-time cancer survivor. The cancer treatments wreaked havoc on her frail frame, yet her positive outlook on life gave her many more years of living. Mom’s longevity surprised us all. We are fortunate that we were the recipients of Beverly’s unconditional LOVE.

In 1955, married Robert John Gilardi (deceased 1998); originally from Wisconsin, both adventurous parents traveled the United States with five children, and dog in tow. Beverly will be deeply missed by Kathleen Hard (Jeff), Michael (Katrina), Donna Masley (Frank deceased), Daniel, and David (Sharon) who gifted Beverly with fourteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Beverly is now at Peace and Dad is holding her hand, showing her the beauty and endless love, in eternity.

We would like to extend special thanks to the continuous care provided by Antoinette (Nikki) Capri during mom’s final years and the endless, loving visits from Kate and Spence Ohlinger.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of her son-in-law to BeLikeFrank Foundation, 2207 Concord Pike, PMB 190, Wilmington, DE 19803.

To continue Beverly’s Legacy: Always Love, Be Positive and Smile Often.
