    Rick Czajkowski and family writes,
Mrs Eckels was a friendly neighbor that was always willing and asking if she could help in anyway. She always gave me updates about neighors that have moved away. She was especially nice and thoughtful to both of my parents and she made the best Christmas cookies. You will be missed

Mom and I enjoyed being Barbara's neighbor for the past 23 years. I'll miss chatting over the fence, and seeing her walking around the neighborhood. She was a fount of history regarding Fairfax and Wilmington. Our prayers to Barbara's family. She was a lovely person.

    Bob and Marie O'Connor writes,
We were very sorry to see of your mother's passing. We were in many of the same places around Fairfax for many years including the Cardiac office. Barbara always had a smile and a warm greeting whenever we saw her. She was a good person to greet sick and upset patients in her line of work. Our sympathy to her children on the loss now of both parents.
