    Sally Coffman writes,
Dearest Cindy and Family, I have been friends with your mother for almost 30 years. We liked each other from day one at that great Talbots store in Hyde Park. You and Kim were still little girls. We went through a lot together during those years—and our friendship remained. We came to Palm Springs on June 9 and had planned to take Anne and Rodney to dinner. I was devastated when he called before we left to say Anne was gone. I will miss her and always smile and remember our good times together. Love to all, Sally and Dave Coffman
