Lorraine Zuefle Trentacosti

TRENTACOSTI – Lorraine (Zuefle), age 76, of Kennett Square, PA, formerly of Deer Park, NY, died at her home on Friday, March 3, 2017. She was surrounded by her family and loved dearly.

Lorraine was married to Anthony Trentacosti (2011). Together they owned Trent Glass & Mirror in West Babylon and Bayshore New York from l968 to 1991. She worked in Retail Sales and was a member and often volunteered at the Kennett Area Senior Center.

Lorraine loved to travel and saw so much of the world. Her most avid passion was being a loving mother and amazing grandmother to her 4 grandchildren. Lorraine was a great cook and operated “Dia’s Diner” – only open to family and friends and had many family traditions she proudly carried out all year long.

Lorraine is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia Trentacosti Franck (C. Christian) and Marjorie M. Thomas (Brian); four grandchildren, Christian and Colette Franck and Trent and Ava Thomas; brother, Lawrence C. Zuefle, Jr. (Kathleen); nephew, Lawrence C. Zuefle, III; and niece, Eileen Zimmer.

Funeral Services

Visitation will be offered at 2:00 PM and Mass will be offered at 3:00 pm on March 25, 2017 at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Church, 10 Old Church Road, Greenville, DE. Donations in her name may be made to the Kennett Area Senior Center; 427 South Walnut Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348.
