Anne C. Crowe, age 98, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on October 13, 2022 in Wilmington Hospital.

Anne graduated from West Tech in Cleveland, Ohio in 1939. She worked for Delmarva Power and in her later years as a doctor’s assistant. Anne also volunteered for many organizations.

She is survived by her son, Vaughan Sawdon, and daughter, Gail Sawdon; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Family thanks all of Anne’s supportive friends that gave her so much help.

Funeral Services

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday October 21, 2022 at Calvary Episcopal Church, 304 Lore Avenue, Wilmington where friends and family may visit from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the Faithful Friends Animal Society, 12 Germay Drive, Wilmington, DE 19804.

    My wife Debbie and I took care of Anne's eyeglass needs at Branmar Plaza for many years. She was a lovely lady and really enjoyed coming into the store to see our Golden Retriever Fletcher.
