John K. Ruello

John K. Ruello, age 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday April 22, 2017. He was born in 1937 in Atlantic City, NJ. John was a 1956 graduate of Atlantic City High School and a 1960 graduate of the University of Delaware where he was the President and a proud member of the Theta Chi Fraternity.

John enjoyed a long and successful career as a stock broker in Wilmington, Delaware. He spent his life dedicated to his family. John loved U of D football games and tailgating with friends. He also cherished summer vacations with his family in Brigantine, NJ. In his later years, John could be found spending time in his yard, surrounded by his beautiful flowers, bird watching and feeding the animals.

John was preceded in death by his first wife Janet C. Ruello and daughter Beth Ann Ruello.

He will be dearly missed by his wife Dawna J. Ruello and her daughter Rebecca E. Bucci, his son John S. Ruello and daughter Leslie J. Carlson and their spouses, Kathy Ruello and Chris Carlson. John is also survived by his four grandchildren Christopher Carlson, Jack, Michael and Juliana Ruello and his brother, Samuel A. Ruello.
