I will never forget how great Ron was to me. He was not only my father in law but was my best friend and go to guy when I needed help. Things may not have ended the way they should have, but everyday I always had a moment when Ron’s voice would come in my head and say. It’s never too late to change or never too late to be a good man. I miss you Ron. I will always listen to your voice and keep trying to be the man you were and the man you wanted me to be. I will miss you forever. Love Brian.

Prayers to the family for healing through this incredibly hard time. Dana and I kept her mom and dad on high alert as we were a bit mischievous as kids. Her parents are awesome!! Love you all.

Many breakfasts were shared with Ron at Friendly's on Kirkwood Highway. That was the special time when Ron and John would chat about their upcoming jobs. Ron kept an eye on the time because he needed to leave to get breakfast back to Kathy, and he'd head off to a job. Clipping coupons was a part-time job, and a fond memory that we have of Ron, and nowadays a valued one that we can all learn from. Thinking of you, Ron. May you rest in peace. John and Joyce Heritage

    Joyce & John Heritage writes,
We were introduced to Ron when we started having breakfast at the Friendly's Restaurant on Kirkwood Highway. John and Ron shared handyman job information, as well even helped each other on various jobs. Ron would keep his eye on the clock because he would make sure he was on time taking Kathy's breakfast back to her. Ron had a part-time job in clipping coupons to stay on budget. In this day and age, that is a real valuable quality to be disciplined to have. Thinking of you, Ron.
