Catherine Marinis

Catherine Marinis, age 77, of Wilmington, DE, formerly West Chester, PA, passed away on May 14, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Sophie Ninos. Catherine was a graduate of West Chester High School Class of 1958. She retired from Christiana Care Health Systems, where she worked for 25 years.

Catherine was a member of the Daughters of Penelope, known fondly as (Sarge) as a youth advisor to GOYA Maids of Athena, member and volunteer at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.

Survived by children Athena Rochonchou of Wilmington, DE, Sophia (Leon) Fotakos of Wilmington, DE, Evangline (Leo) Ohlemacher of Apollo Beach, FL, Sotiere Marinis of Wilmington, DE, grandchildren Stephanie (Brandon) Nagle, James Rochonchou, Arhontoula (Lexi), Ekaterini (Gigi), Jackie, Catherine, and Nicholas Marinis, Paul (Jessica) Ohlemacher, and 5 great grandchildren.
