Lynn Kirk, age 80, of West Chester, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Friday. Raised in Southern Illinois in the town of Carmi, Lynn spent 61 beautiful years side by side with her beloved husband, William Kirk (from Norris City, IL). Together, they built a life full of love and adventure, raising three children and welcoming five cherished grandchildren and a treasured great-granddaughter into the lives. Throughout William’s career with Dupont, Lynn and Bill lived across the globe with stops in Missouri, Illinois, Florida, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Switzerland, and West Virginia. Wherever they landed, Lynn possessed a special gift for turning any house into a welcoming home. She was a creative artist and an amazing painter whose talent transformed canvas and living spaces alike. She loved decorating, owned and managed Five K’s equestrian farm in Unionville, PA. Lynn was a fantastic host and entertainer, She was always ready to throw a themed party, creating unforgettable memories for family and friends. Above all else, Lynn’s greatest joy came from her family. She loved her grandchildren deeply. She is survived by her husband, William Kirk; her loving children, Kelly Kirk (Patricia), Lynette Kirk (Michael Gordon), and Ginger Kirk; her cherished grandchildren, Todd Kirk (Maria), Julia Kirk, Malcolm Gordon (Rachel), Quinn Gordon, and Sophia Gordon; her treasured great-granddaughter, Florence Kirk; and her brother, Lenard Pyle (Dotty).
In addition to her mother Vera Pyle, Lynn was preceded in death by her sister, Sue Beam, and William Kirk’ parents. Frank and Helen Kirk of Norris City, IL.
