Lee David Swatsworth

Lee David Swatsworth, 58, of Georgetown passed peacefully from this life into the next Thursday, May 7, 2020 at home after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born June 9, 1961 in Curwensville, Pennsylvania to the late Lee and Joyce Swatsworth.

In addition to his parents Lee was preceded in death by a brother Carl. He survived by his loving companion Dawn Breasure; son Chad Swatsworth; son David Swatsworth; daughter in law Krista Swatsworth; brother Jeff; brother Mark and several family members back home in Pennsylvania.

Lee’s happiness was found outdoors whether it was camping, fishing, gardening or enjoying a nice fire on his patio. He most of all loved time spent with Dawn the lady he loved with all his heart and his sons David and Chad who were his pride and joy. He loved and enjoyed sharing stories of his sons with anyone he talked too.

Lee will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a friend to all and a stranger to none.

The family would like to thank Tunnell Cancer Center and Delaware Hospice for being a source of support, guidance and caring for him during his courageous battle.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations in Lee’s name to the Lewes Rehoboth Moose Lodge #646, 28971 Lewes-Georgetown Highway, Lewes, DE 19958.
