I knew Don here at Cokesbury. What a lovely man - a true gentleman in his bearing, his manner, how he spoke, even how he dressed. It was always a genuine pleasure to talk with him. He is missed.

James W. Bowman lit a candle and writes,
I was saddened to hear of Don's passing. I am an alumni of the old DuPont Safety and Fire Protection Division. It was Don who was a mentor, supporter, and friend that gave me the opportunity to become and eventually retire, after 35 plus years, as a Senior Safety and Fire Protection Consultant. He always treated his employees like family and set a standard for others to meet. My condolences to the family, I know you will miss him. Thanks Don, may God bless. Jim Bowman and Carolyn Bowman

    Jim Wick writes,
I was only 26 years old when I joined DuPont's Safety & Fire Protection Division in 1972. Don Windsor was the boss, but more importantly, he served as an inspiration and mentor, helping launch my career in a noble profession. I am truly grateful. I’m thrilled to share that Don introduced me to the National Safety Council, which awards its prestigious Distinguished Service to Safety Award (DSSA) to truly exceptional individuals. Over the years, DuPont has been fortunate to have outstanding leaders committed to safety, yet only two have received this honor. Don is one of them, and I believe his family has every reason to be proud. Don Windsor made a difference in people's lives, including mine.

    Kevin and Aleanne Kennelly writes,
My wife Aleanne and I met Mr Windsor circa 1970 through a life long friendship with Donna and Clark and family . We had many wonderful trips to Wilmington including attending the weddings of the Collins children ( as well as participating in the wedding of Clark and Donna.) I was always struck by what a gentleman Mr Windsor was and by what a charming man he was . He was always friendly , positive , clever and ….truth be told ….just an extraordinary conversationalist. I never saw him in a bad mood. He picked other people up . He will be greatly missed by the Collins and Windsor clans as well as by everyone who knew him. An outstanding man.
