Christopher V. Adam

Christopher V. Adam, 62 formerly of Wilmington DE passed away on February 7th, 2019 in Columbus GA, his home for the past 13 years.

Chris grew up in Orange Texas and graduated in 1974 from Concord High School, Wilmington, DE.

He was an accomplished drummer, pianist and songwriter. He was very proud of his album (Like the Wind) and numerous singles by his group Sage.

Chris’ life revolved around music, beginning in his early years with 78 rpm records his mother would bring home from the grocery store for him on a weekly basis. His mother would tell the story, how Chris would play them so much they would become so scratched that he would end up rocking to the scratches by the end of the week.

Chris is preceded in death by his parents Henry L. and Catherine E. Adam. He is survived by his brothers and sisters Hank (Maureen), Ann, Roberta and Brian along with his nephews Henry and Stephen, his niece Sarah, great-nephews Gavin and Stephen Christopher and great-niece Stella.

Chris will be dearly missed by all who loved him. Chris is buried in All Saints Cemetery, with family Wilmington DE. Services were private.

Condolences

    Susan and Justin Ryan writes,
We remember Chris from when we all lived in Woodbine. Chris was a friendly and lovable young person who always greeted us with a smile and asked how we were doing. Our memory is that he did love music and would enjoy talking about it with all of us.....although he knew a lot more! We have only the happiest of memories of him and are so sorry to hear of his passing. God rest his soul and may he rest in peace. Bless you all - always. And lots of love. Susan and Justin ryan
