Diane Layton Sezna

Diane Layton Sezna, age 67, of Chadds Ford, PA, passed away on November 19, 2018.

She was born in 1950 to Jean Grier Sezna and Walter William “Wally” Sezna. Diane had a passion for art, travel, and cooking. She will be remembered by her big heart, generosity, and caring nature. Diane will be truly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her three children: Stephanie Reese, Alexandra R. Kokkoris, and Maxwell Wyndorf. Diane was a loving grandmother to three grandchildren: Eloise Kokkoris, Elias Yuasa, and Gwyndolen Yuasa. Also survived by four siblings: Barbara Gehret, Kathleen Sezna, Davis Sezna and Ronald Sezna.

A memorial service to celebrate Diane’s life will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018, at 2:00PM at Christ Church Christiana Hundred, 505 Buck Rd., Wilmington, DE. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Diane’s name to The Pilot School 208 Woodlawn Rd., Wilmington, DE 19803.

    Diane was a lovely, amazing woman, so kind and generous. We were neighbors when she lived in Newtown, CT with her then husband Gerry and her two beautiful girls, Stephanie and Alex. I’ll never forget visiting them all later on in California, and meeting their smart young son, Max. Her sudden loss is devastating. I pray that God grant His peace all who loved her.
