Joyce A. Colwell

Joyce A. Colwell, age 77, of New Castle, DE, passed away on November 2, 2018.

She was a graduate of P.S. DuPont High School. Joyce enjoyed being in the presence of children. She owned and operated her own Daycare Center for many years. Joyce and her husband Ernie were the founders of the Delaware National Guard Youth Camp.

Survived by her beloved husband of 56 years Ernest A. Colwell, her brother Richard Keith, step-sister Bonnie Sue, and family friend Aiden.

Memorial contributions in Joyce’s memory can be made to the Delaware National Guard Youth Camp, 1 Vavala Way, New Castle, DE 19720.
