James Calloway Morris, Jr.

James Calloway Morris, Jr., age 58, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on September 26, 2018.

Born in Wilmington in 1960 to the late James C. and Jo Ann Morris. He was the manager of Fairfax Liquors. Jimmy was an avid collector of Beatles memorabilia, Yellow Submarine items being his particular focus. He was a member of the Lincoln Club of Delaware and an Eagle Scout.

Survived by his brother John Morris, his wife Mary of Hockessin, nephews John Morris, Jr., his girlfriend Jayne Dyson of Wilmington, and Aiden Morris of Hockessin.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions to the University of Delaware. Please forward donations to Gifts Processing, 83 E. Main St, 3rd Floor, Newark, DE 19716. Make checks payable to ‘University of Delaware’ and include on the memo line “in memory of James C. Morris, Jr.” Gifts can also be made on the University of Delaware’s secure website, www.udel.edu/makeagift. Donations will be directed to the Lincoln Collection at the University of Delaware.

Funeral Services

A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 13, 2018 at 11:30AM at Chandler Funeral Home, 2506 Concord Pike. Friends may call starting at 10:30AM. Interment will be private.
