Charles Robert Gneiting, Sr.

Charles Robert Gneiting, Sr., age 88, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the Manor Care Rehabilitation Center.

Charles was born in Baltimore,Maryland, son of the late Eugene and Elizabeth Eberling Gneiting. Charles graduated from John Hopkins University and was a teacher with the Polytechnic Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. He was a member of the Boys Scouts of America.

Charles is survived by his children Martha Gifford of Pennsylvania, Paula Blankford of Maryland, Diane Davidson of Maryland, Charles Gneiting, Jr. of North Carolina and Phil Gneiting of Arizona.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 10:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 143 Dickinson Lane, Wilmington, Delaware 19807.  A viewing will be held at the church prior to the service from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Interment will be held at the Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, Timonium, Maryland.
