Dorothy Brierley Wilson passed away peacefully at her home in Hockessin, Delaware at age 92 on July 9, 2018. Dorothy and her husband, Carl A. Wilson, celebrated their 70th anniversary on June 19, 2018 surrounded by family and friends.
In addition to her husband, Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Stoy, Lark Howard, and Donna Zito; grandchildren, Carla Zito and Tony Zito; and great-grandchildren, Natalia and Jaden. Also surviving her are her brothers, William and Robert Brierley, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Dorothy loved china painting and often gifted her beautiful work to her family and friends. She also loved entertaining. After Carl retired from education, they fulfilled their dream of traveling all over the world–touring the USA, Canada, Europe, Egypt, Australia, New Zealand, and South America.
