Peggy Branch Miller

Peggy Branch Miller, age 89, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2018.

Born to the late Oneta & Levitt Branch, she was raised in Durham NC and graduated from Hope Valley School in 1947. She later moved to Wilmington, DE and then to Elkton, MD to be closer to her daughter and family. She spent 45 years in the ever-changing banking industry. In her retirement years, she enjoyed her morning devotions, writing, painting and gardening. She was a great mother, listener, friend and organizer to the end.

Peggy is survived by her loving husband, Robert L Miller; her daughter, Linda Terrell Seaman and son-in-law David of Chesapeake City, MD; sisters Hazel Lee of Prattville, AL and Nita Murray (Jack) of Raleigh, NC; granddaughters Michelle Lehman and Lori Seaman and great grandchildren Laurel and Daniel, all of Wilmington, DE. Her family wishes to thank the amazing PCU team of Union Hospital for their loving care and support through her final chapter…

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to be made in her name to Union Hospital, Palliative Care, 111 West High St, Suite 309, Elkton, MD 21921.
