David R. Moore

David R. Moore, age 78, of New Castle, DE., passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025.

David was born in Wilmington in 1947, son of the late Joseph Moore and Mildred Henderson Moore. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam war. He worked for the General Motors Corporation in Wilmington on the assembly line.

In addition to his parents, David is predeceased by his wife, Deloris Moore, his son, Christopher Moore, and his siblings, Walter Moore, Robert Moore and Joanne Spect. He is survived by his nephews; James Moore and Scott Moore, and his grandchildren; Amanda Kloeckner, Alexandria Sullivans, Joseph Moore and Lincoln Moore.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 2 to 6 PM at the Police and Fire Rod & Gun Inc., 100 Linstone Avenue, New Castle, DE 19720.
