    Patty Gropp writes,
We are so very sorry for your loss. Dave was always very kind and encouraging to me. He always had a kind word. In the short time I have known Dave, I grew to respect him, not only for his time as chief but for all he has done for the fire company. Dave will be missed. Your family will be in my prayers.
