The family moved to Middlebush, NJ, Hendersonville, NC, Wehrheim Germany, Chadds Ford, PA, and Scituate, MA. Dear Wasy, I recently saw your dear Jacquie’s obituary in the Chandler website. Although I hadn’t seen either you or Jaquie since you had moved to Massachusetts to be closer to family, I still have very fond memories of both of you. Jaquie was a lovely, lovely lady… always with a smile on her face. I missed seeing both of you in Shadow Lane after you moved. And when I mentioned Jacquie’s passing to our daughter Jamie (married with two children of her own), she said that she and her friends loved to stop at your house on Halloween night because, “Mrs. D’Cruz was so nice, and she always gave out full-size candy bars😄!” What better to be known for than that?! I hope you are getting along ok… I can imagine that losing one’s spouse after so many years is devastating and life-changing. But I remember you so fondly… a delightful and engaging man. I trust you will be ok. My very best wishes to you, Wasy. Wendy🥰

Wasy and family. My deepest condolences to you on the loss of your beloved Jacquie. I saw the picture of your wonderfully large family today on Facebook, and realized she was not in the picture, and that it must have been taken at her memorial service. Carolyn and I thoroughly enjoyed our long friendship as neighbors on Shadow Lane, Chadds Ford, and getting to know your wonderful children over all those years. The monthly bridge and gourmet dinners were such fun. I was never much good at bridge, but I really enjoyed the company and the food. May she rest in peace and may all of you find comfort in the love provided to you all by an incredible woman. Joe
