Jerry R. Forrester

Jerry R. Forrester, 70, of Hockessin, DE passed away at Christiana Hospital on January 20, 2018.

He was a U.S. Marine during the Vietnam War and worked for E. Hollingsworth for many years.

He was predeceased by his parents, George and Frances Forrester, and brothers Willard and Wallace Forrester. Jerry is survived by his fiancé Alice McGraw, brother Lee Forrester of Georgia and sister Shirley Troutman and her husband Thomas of Pennsylvania along with many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday January 29, 2018 at CHANDLER FUNERAL HOME, 7230 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin where friends may visit from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. A committal service will be held at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear on Wednesday February 7, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
