Wilma Dean Wyatt, of Oxford, Pennsylvania, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior on April 7th, 2025. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and servant of Christ, Wilma’s life was marked by unwavering faith and a passionate commitment to teaching God’s Word.
She is survived by her two beloved children, Larry Wyatt and Stacey Wyatt Evander, along with ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Wilma is also survived by three siblings: John McMillan, Cat Cairnes, and Lilly Leonard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wyatt; her son, Charles Wyatt Jr.; and her grandson, Adam Wyatt.
Wilma was most known and deeply loved for her unquenchable hunger for Bible study, decades of leading youth groups, and teaching Bible studies. Her life was a shining example of steadfast faith and spiritual mentorship to many. Today, we rejoice in the truth that her faith has become sight.
A Celebration of Life service will be held in her honor on Saturday, June 28th, 2025, at 11:00 AM at State Line Baptist Church, 560 Chrome Road, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Water Street Mission in Lancaster, PA—continuing Wilma’s legacy of love, compassion, and faith in action.
