Dear family, I was saddened to learn of the passing of your wonderful Ida. She was so gracious, compassionate and a source of joy to so many, I was privileged to have shared in her care as well as her mother's. Her legacy will be remembered in my heart. I also recall seeing her on her train rides to New York. Her smile would light up the aisle. I only hope that the many wonderful memories will comfort you at this time. Please know that there are so many others sharing in your loss. With sincere sympathy, Rob

I met IL when I would visit my mother at the Country House. She was such a dear, always fun to be with, sharp to the end. After my mother died, I continued to visit IL when I was in town to see my uncle Ben Melvin. I shall miss IL, she was a special person!! Love to the family, Ginger
