What should I do at a visitation? What should I say? What should I not say? How do different religions conduct their funeral and mourning rituals? Should there be a viewing? How should friends express their love and concern to the family? Please feel free to ask us about any of these matters, or any other point of thoughtful behavior.

We also help by acquainting you with the various costs and considerations involved in the funeral process. Our Advanced Planning Counselor consults in the community, conducting informative free seminars dealing with funeral options, cremation and the benefits of preneed planning.

Our Aftercare Coordinator, Helen Johnson, LCSW, ACSW, is here to give personal attention and assistance when coping with the death of a loved one. Helen provides, individual counseling, grief counseling, support groups, a direct phone number where she can be reached, and a library of books, video and audio tapes to help in understanding and dealing with grief. Helen also conducts free seminars throughout the community.
